For this challenge you must:

2.) from your stash, you must add bling to your layout

 Here was my take on the sketch!

 

Journaling reads: "Mommy loves the fact that the most little things make you smile! That good ole' Thrifty's Ice Cream on a cone does it each and every time! Smile on Baby Girl!"

Products Used:

Paper - Lilybee Designs, Carta Bella (Summer Cool line), White Cardstock

Wooden embellish, Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Walnut Stain), Heidi Swapp Color shine (Sweet Cherry). Pink Flower, Bling, Polka Paper Clip (Recollections)

Red, White & Blue Challenge!!!!

Hello Crafty Friends and welcome to my blog for those who are new visitors!

This is my first layout as being apart of the AWESOME and FUN Scrap Our Stash Design Team!

The first challenge we are presenting was to use only use the colors RED, WHITE, & BLUE and the twist was to use a minimum of 3 pre-made stars, whether it was a sticker, chipboard, bling, whatever! Dig out those goods you have! That's what Scrap Our Stash is all about! Use what you have!  The only other color we could use if any would be kraft....so here you have it!

A little about the layout: (pardon the glare)

"Another One Bites the Dust"

This layout is capturing my daughter's excitement from losing her 3rd tooth! She refuses for anyone to pull them out as she chooses to do it herself...kids these days get excited, because they expect cash instead of coins! =)

This layout completed using mostly Bazzill Cardstock (white & blue solid), the red polka dot base is from Lilybee Designs, and also used some crate paper from Jillibean Soup "Cold Rasberry". Embellishments: October Afternoon stickers, chipboard stars and bling from Prima.
  

And for those who don't know me...

 Hello my crafty friends!

My name is Tricia and I am from Sunny Southern California, mother of one beautiful daughter Breanna Nichole (6) and a brand new fury friend, Brownie.  I have been creating for about 17 years and have enjoyed every moment of it. I began scrapbooking right when there weren’t too many “safe” products out there to use.  Since my attendance to a Scrapbook Expo it went all down hill from there! I usually reference that as my “coming out party!” Most of my projects and layouts you will see will be of my daughter as she IS the subject and focus of my life!  I have met so many cool people through the world of crafting in which I am so lucky to have many of them as my friends!

I’m usually kept busy doing layouts, canvas pieces, Project Life, Art Journaling and my favorite…. Mini Books! Whatever it is I am creating I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE using embelIies! You will almost always find some BLING, Washi Tape, Paint, and most likely some doodling. =)

Besides crafting, I love spending time with my family, friends, traveling, reading, dancing and working out. I am usually never still and always involved in something.

I am super excited to be a part of such an awesome design team here for Scrap Our Stash! All the designers are extremely talented and I am sure you will find inspiration every time you visit!  I am totally looking forward and I hope you are too! Stay tuned to see some cool stuff!
