We Miss You Mike!

Wow, I am still in disbelief that one of our greatest musicians is no longer here...

His music still lives on and will never become extinct.

We can put on a classic hit like P.Y.T and say, "OOOH THIS MY JAM!!!" and break out in a personal performance in the mirror!

 

Micheal was a great man, a great humanitarian, a great entertainer. He absolutely loved what he did. He had a difficult childhood, which in turn he got attacked for as a reason for some of his not so best decisions and his behavior.

 

Above it all, we all miss great musicians and he was definitely one of them.

 

If you have NOT picked up the Micheal Jackson Experience...PLEASE do! This game is so much fun! Fun for all ages and a great family game to play on the holidays or any rainy day!

 One of my favorite games on the Wii experience...love it!

Love Me Some Ledisi!!

I have been sleeping on Ledisi....love her. I keep my Pandora locked on Ledisi station. I have a co-worker that would speak highly of this artist and I never paid too much attention I guess...but I shoulda. This is true music talent. Unfortunately, true talent doesn't get the hype, glam, and attention as they should. I can tell I am growing and maturing in the music I am choosing to listen to.

Anyhow, if you do not know who Ledisi is, you may want to check her out. Her lyrics are real!

{Layouts & ZUMBA!!!}

Got together with my sista from another mista and did some scrappin in her transforming woman cave! Cant wait to scrap in your space again!
Anyhow, we both got a few things done here are a few...
(Most of these pics are 6x8 photos)...a few finally from my October's Girls Getaway Cruise which was fantabulous!

Yeah don't ask what we were thinking...the crazy part is we WAITED while the WILD ANIMAL CALMED DOWN!!! I know...stop shaking your head now...lol!

On another note.........................ZUMBA for the Wii is the bomb!! If you are looking for a high intensity workout and can't make it to the gym...try Zumba!! I honestly feel like I was at the gym taking the class. All the teachers on the game appeared so real! I was shakin it hard too! I am incoporating this in my 30 day challenge!

I have a trip to Hawaii I am needing to prepare for!

If you are looking for a pure cardio and fun work out, try Zumba and the Black Eye Peas Experience. The Black Eye Peas experience is alot like the Micheal Jackson Experience, same concept...however the intensity is higher on the BEP Experience. Try them both if you can! These games I have played on my Wii...they may be on other game systems!

Depending on where you are in life, this song could mean so many different things.
Do you often question your identity still as an adult? Do you question your motives? Do you question why you do the things you do? Do you question who is truly in your corner? Do you question who your REAL friends are?

It's simple...as the song says, "I work at pleasin' me casue I can't please you, and thats why I do what I do!"....worry about yourself and not be focused so much on others. Be pleased with yourself. Accept yourself for who you are. Try not to worry about what everyone else and their mama may think about you...everyone has an opinion and whether you ask or not they may or may not give it to ya.

Find your inner strength and know that their opinions don't matter...its all about YOU!
