Glampin Monologues!!

Well granted, we did not real deal camp.....there was an RV involved, so....I guess most would call that cheating. That is totally fine.  We had a fun eventful weekend at Puddingstone Lake, glamping it up...the most productive I've been in awhile...aaand....the kicker....I was crafting out with mother nature!!! It was a task running from bees and trying to find smacked spiders, steering clear of skunks, spraying bug repellent, lighting citronella candles, adjusting easy up to block sun in the day and crafting with the assistance of flood lights....you get the picture..

Here are a few of my favorite pics in this pic collage and below that my ultimate favorite...which I would say was my ultimate favorite photo bomb pic!

                           And.....that was the best photo bomb pic that I have ever done. This should go up on the hall of fame! Sorry JoJo Bug!  

Below are the layouts that was able to complete. I think I did a total of 12? I  think? Some I cannot quite post yet due to being on a design team. =) You will see them over time. 

 

   A few cards I made...I am by far a card maker, but I had scraps and I thought I would use....not only that....I really am not feeling the prices of greeting cards. At the beginning of the year, I told myself that I was not buying any cards this year........I lied to myself. BUT...I would love to get to that point.

It is so important to get together with your girlfriends and just hang out! If its not scrapbooking find whatever it is you love....and enjoy! Enjoy life, tomorrow is never promised! From what I understand, we will definitely do it again, maybe real deal camping!

{Discovery Science Center - 1st Grade Field Trip!!}

Last week, I was chosen to be a chaperon on a field trip to the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana, Ca. Imagine....a bus full of 1st graders....oh how bout 3 1st grade classes on the bus...they were screaming at the top of their lungs, singing all their little cool songs that they like to sing...including....FROZEN!!! Is there any parent out there who is not in sync with Frozen yet? LOL...well these kids I swear make me laugh, I enjoy them SO MUCH! What I really enjoy is being told, "You are a COOL mom!" Dang right kiddo!

With the duty of chaperoning,  I was in charge of 5 kids in my group...if you can imagine....yeah it was a job! LOL...There is always one in the group...`that always wants to run off! To protect the innocent, I will not say any names...but hey they are kids, what do you expect!

I think before the day was over, all knew my little runaways name! Because I was yelling the name of the unmentioned every 5-7 minutes...lol...they were still a bundle of joy!

If you are in the Southern California area or plan to visit with little ones, this is a must see. I live here and had no idea this place existed! Check it out, your kids will love it! Check out this interesting architecture....the kids notice "THE CUBE" when we were still on the freeway!

Sandy Beaches, Palm Trees...Hawaii Bound Baby!

Well, this is where I will be on Sunday afternoon...whoop whoop, I think we actually arrive late morning! I can't wait....the craziness of it all is I am not packed, suitcase is not even out of the box....oh well I will get it done.

Thanks to one of my really really good friends for organizing the trip (Thanks J-Wow! - who just earned that name today)...I will be joining Janice and her family and a few others!

My main squeeze will be coming as well! I am excited because he is a hard working man and so deserves this trip! You are a GREAT father and you have helped me find happiness in more ways than one! Babe, I know you read my blog from time to time, so if you do I hope this makes you smile. According to you, you have not been on a "real" vacation in a long time...sounds like you are completely overdue! Well I am so happy to be the woman to accompany you on this getaway!!!

Babe you will NOT be disappointed...I can promise you that! You now I always have stuff up my sleeves!

I know you have a lot goin on right now, but guess what....its time to have fun for a few days! Its okay to relax and escape our reality!

Viejas Turnaround Trip

Hello! Hello!

Its been a minute since my last post and I am posting on a bittersweet note. Happy cuz I get to share with you my fun azz weekend...and just plain ole sad cuz tomorrow is Monday! However, I am super blessed to have a job to to go to in the morning and a desk to sit at. So I'm good!

Anyhow, this past weekend me and a group of my friends and family went along with the Deer Creek Red Hatters a fundraiser turnaround trip to Viejas, Ca to Viejas Casino & Outlet Mall! Have I mentioned how much FUN I had?

I received a nice card from the Queen of the Chapter "Queen Bertha" and a monetary gift for bringing the most guests. There was a tie, so we both got awarded. It was great! I love Miss Queen Bertha and I love her daughter Janice Simmons who is one of my sistas from anutha mista!

I guess you can say that I completely splurged this weekend...I did! Why? Because you only live once! I work my booty off and ya girl was in need of some super woosah time away! Better yet is a woosah getaway with some really funky fresh girls in my life!

We all pretty much splurged and had the same attitude! Pretty much we were all like "Eff it!" What the hell...stop trippin, we all got good jobs, lets have some freakin fun!!! LOL!!!! So we did just that!
