Mom Katherine is worried sick about the fate of Paris and if she'll lose custody of the 16-year old. Katherine released a statement asking for privacy but explaining this is a difficult time and experience for Paris. Meanwhile the pressure cooker that is the wrongful death of the Michael Jackson lawsuit between Paris' grandmother and AEG Live pushes forward. The testimony has been brutal as AEG drags the name of The King Of Pop through the mud with past child molestation charges and accusations of not fathering
all of his children.
Bobbi Kris, the 20-year old daughter of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, has been evicted from her Georgia apartment. Neighbors of Bobbi Kris and her play brother/boyfriend Nick Gordon say they were sick of the loud parties and ruckus that would last until 5am, so Bobbi and Nick had to go. Before she departed the apartment, Bobbi Kris left a series of profanity laced notes for her landlord.
The Wendy Williams Show has been renewed through 2017. The show airs in syndication and on BET and Centric daily, and is now an A-List celebrity stop. We also have Wendy guidance. Williams has a new advice book, Ask Wendy which is available in stores now.
Singer Miguel is going to be forever known as the guy who landed on a woman's head while performing. A couple weeks ago during his Billboard Music Awards performance, Miguel attempted to leap across the audience. Well, it went terribly wrong because he landed on Khyati Shah's head. At first, it appeared Shah had no injuries. Now, weeks later, Shah claims she has a brain injury. We knew the lawsuit was coming. Producers for the Billboard Music Awards say they told Miguel not to leap across the audience. When the singer asked, producers told him it was too dangerous, but he did it anyway! This sets the stage for things to fall mostly on Miguel.
American Idol is losing its original creative team. Founding Producers Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick are the latest casualties of the shake up to restore the magic to American Idol. FOX told the producers to step down as they search for new producers. Idol still needs new judges as Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and original Judge, Randy Jackson have all exited the judges' table. What can be done to save FOX's original singing reality show?
It’s going to be baby number five for Bravo Reality Star Kim Zolciak. She just had a baby nine months ago, and now she is expecting again with Football Player Kroy Biermann.
So what is Tamar Braxton going to do once she has her baby with hubby Vince Herbert? Braxton is going to be one of the hosts for the new talk show The Real. The hosts, including Actress Tamera Mowry-Housley (Sister, Sister), Singer Adrienne Bailon (The Cheetah Girls) and Comedienne Loni Love. They are all under the age of 40. The show will test on some FOX affiliates later this year.
It's another edition of Motown-Philly as Motown Founder Berry Gordy is being honored with The Marian Anderson Award on November 19th. The festivities including a performance tribute will take place at the Kimmel Center.
Kevin Hart is coming home to host the festivities for the Wawa Welcome America Celebration on Thursday, July 4th on the steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum. Actor Shemar Moore says Don’t Believe The Hype! A woman is claiming she was assaulted by Moore last week. Moore is best known for his work on the CBS show Criminal Minds and back in the day as “Malcolm” on The Young And The Restless. The woman claims she was assaulted at Moore's home during a party. She says someone pushed her into a pool, and she then tried to enter Moore's home wet and wasn't allowed. Moore tried to reason with the woman who was screaming at him. They got into a shoving match at his home. Moore says it was all a big misunderstanding because he didn’t want the woman in his home soaking wet.
It was a sad week for two major music stars who lost their mothers. Pop Sensation Bruno Mars lost his mom from a brain aneurism at the age of 55, and Andre 3000 of Outkast lost his mother two weeks ago.
Actress Jean Stapleton has died. Stapleton enjoyed a long career on stage and screen, but was best known for playing “Edith Bunker” on the groundbreaking, socially concious sitcom All In The Family from 1971-1979. She won three Emmys as the kind-hearted wife to the late Caroll O'Connor's character “Archie Bunker”. All In The Family is one of only two non-reality shows to ever go five years straight as the number one-rated series on TV, with the other being The Cosby Show. Stapleton is also famous for turning down an offer to play “Jessica Fletcher” in the hit drama Murder She Wrote. The role went to Angela Landsbury. Stapleton died of natural causes at the age of 90.
After his latest movie opened to disappointing reviews, Will Smith is being advised to pick better movie roles. Smith starred in After Earth with his son Jaden. Despite drawing in over $27 million, the movie was still considered a flop. Will Smith's next movie needs to put him back on top at the box office. He is currently in talks to star and produce in a western called The Wild Bunch.
Mary J. Blige is having financial problems and close friends are blaming her immediate family and lifestyle. Blige has been living large, but she owes millions in back taxes. Mary's husband Kendu appears to be her manager, but no one knows if he has any other sources of income. Blige tours all the time, so why is she having money problems? Her husband's daughter, from a previous relationship, recently announced that she was pregnant and homeless. Briana Latrise, 26, apparently put her dad and step-mom on blast after they stopped supporting her financially.
LisaRaye and her former Single Ladies' Co-star Stacy Dash are reuniting by way of the big screen in the movie Lap Dance. Lynn Whitfield and Carmen Electra round out the cast. This is quite a surprising movie by LisaRaye. She plays an exotic dancer, much like her breakout character “Diamond” from the 1998 movie The Players Club. LisaRaye is currently dating Bishop Noel Jones and the televangelist is going to be featured in an upcoming reality show about ministers. Friends of Jones are shocked that LisaRaye would pick this type of role because she has gone public with her romance with the Bishop. LisaRaye says she is acting and this is part of her career not her love life.

Gabrielle Union returns to the small screen on the BET drama series Being Mary Jane debuting Tuesday, July 2nd. Union plays a TV talk show host navigating her way through career and single life. The show was created by Mara Brock Akil creator of Girlfriends and The Game. Speaking of The Game, new episodes also premiere Tuesday, July 2nd.

White House Down is Jamie Foxx's latest film. Foxx is going to play the President Of The United States and his co-stars are Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx Show alum, Garcelle Beauvais. White House Down opens in theatres June 28th. Foxx has also been named the new spokesperson for the national campaign for Big Brothers And Big Sisters. Jamie is also playing the new villain, Electro, in the next Spiderman movie. His latest movie, the Quentin Tarantino-Oscar winner Django Unchained is available on DVD. The movie also stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington, Christoph Waltz (Oscar winner) and Samuel L. Jackson. Foxx is also in talks to star in the movie musical Annie with Oscar Nominee Quvenzhane Wallis (Beasts Of The Southern Wild). Foxx is set to play “Benjamin Stacks,” a take-off on the “Daddy Warbucks” character. Annie is scheduled to hit the big screen late
