Here is a funny for you....enjoy!

T. D. Jakes was returning to Texas after a speaking engagement. When his plane arrived, there was a limousine there to transport him to His home in Dallas . As he prepared to get into the limo, he stopped and Spoke to the driver. 'You know' he said, 'I am almost 50 years old and I have never driven a limousine. Would you mind if I drove it for a while?' The driver said, 'No problem, Bishop T. D. Jakes gets into the driver's seat and they head off down The highway.  A short distance away sat a rookie State Trooper operating His first speed trap. The long black limo went by him doing 70 in a 55 mph zone. The trooper pulled out and easily caught the limo and got out of his patrol car to begin the procedure. The young trooper walked up to the driver's door and when the glass was rolled down he was surprised to see who was driving. He immediately excused himself and went back to his car and called his supervisor. He told the supervisor, 'I know we are supposed to enforce the law but I also know that important people are sometimes given certain courtesies. I need to know what I should do because I have stopped a very important person.' 'The supervisor asked, 'Is it the governor?' The young trooper said, 'No, he's more important than that.' The supervisor said, 'Oh, so it's the president.' The young trooper said, 'No, he's even more important than that.' The supervisor finally asked, 'Well then, who is it?' The young trooper said, I think it's Jesus because he's got

Stronger

The director of Bre's school told me to listen to this song...she was sure that I could properly apply it to life right about now...the words fit properly into place...

You know the bed feels warmer,
Sleeping here alone,
You know I dream in color,
And do the things I want.
You think you got the best of me
Think you had the last laugh
Bet you think that everything good is gone.
Think you left me broken down
Think that i'd come running back
Baby you don't know me, cause you're dead wrong.
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger
Stand a little taller
Doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone.
What doesn't kill you makes a fighter
Footsteps even lighter
Doesn't mean i'm over cause you're gone
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, stronger
Just me myself and i
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger,
Stand a little taller
Doesn't mean i'm lonely when i'm alone
You heard that I was starting over with someone new,
They told you I was moving on, over you,
You didn't think that I'd come back, i'd come back swinging
You try to break me but you see

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger

stand a little taller
doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone.
What doesn't kill you makes a fighter
Footsteps even lighter
Doesn't mean I'm over cause your gone.
what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, stronger
Just me, myself and I
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger
Stand a little taller Doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone
Thanks to you I got a new thing started
Thanks to you I'm not the broken hearted
Thanks to you I'm finally thinking 'bout me
You know in the end the day I left was just my beginning..... in the end...
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger
Stand a little taller
Doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone
What doesn't kill you makes a fighter
Footsteps even lighter
Doesn't mean I'm over cause you're gone.
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, stronger
Just me, Myself and I
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger
Stand a little taller
Doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone.
I'm not alone

{Layouts & ZUMBA!!!}

Got together with my sista from another mista and did some scrappin in her transforming woman cave! Cant wait to scrap in your space again!
Anyhow, we both got a few things done here are a few...
(Most of these pics are 6x8 photos)...a few finally from my October's Girls Getaway Cruise which was fantabulous!
Caption states: "Whew! I know we don't appear AFRAID but umm....YES WE WERE! We had a wild hair stuck up our you know what and decided to pay money to take a picture with this WILD animal! There was also a lion that we posed with. It took a great ordeal for this tiger to stop growling! But we put our BIG GIRL PANTIES on and did it! We felt on top of the world! LOL! Super funny!"....
Yeah don't ask what we were thinking...the crazy part is we WAITED while the WILD ANIMAL CALMED DOWN!!! I know...stop shaking your head now...lol!

Me, Alondra and Azeb taking one of the many photo opps there on the ship, this was the captains cocktail night / dinner.
Posing for the picture before boarding!! We were super hyped!
On another note.........................ZUMBA for the Wii is the bomb!! If you are looking for a high intensity workout and can't make it to the gym...try Zumba!! I honestly feel like I was at the gym taking the class. All the teachers on the game appeared so real! I was shakin it hard too! I am incoporating this in my 30 day challenge!
I have a trip to Hawaii I am needing to prepare for!
If you are looking for a pure cardio and fun work out, try Zumba and the Black Eye Peas Experience. The Black Eye Peas experience is alot like the Micheal Jackson Experience, same concept...however the intensity is higher on the BEP Experience. Try them both if you can! These games I have played on my Wii...they may be on other game systems!
Good luck!

10 Commandments to Live By

A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often and realize how fortunate you are right now. It’s about the simple pleasures that make you happy, the compassionate deeds you perform, the personal goals you strive to achieve, the relationships you nurture and the legacy you leave behind.

So starting today, choose to take control. Here are ten commandments to help you live a good life.

And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years. - Abraham Lincoln

I. I am not perfect and I will not try to be. Think of how many things don’t get done in this world simply because people are waiting for the perfect time, place and circumstance. The real world doesn’t reward perfectionists. It rewards people who get things done. And the only way to get things done is to be imperfect 99% of the time.

ll. I cannot, and will not try, to please everyone. No matter what you do or how you do it, there will always be people that disagree with what you’re doing. That’s life. So don’t try please everyone. Simply do what I know is right. And remember, it doesn’t matter how many people don’t get it, it matters how many people do.

III. I will take part in something I believe in. This could be anything. Some people take an active role in their city council, some find refuge in religious faith, some join social clubs supporting causes they believe in and others find passion in their careers. In each case the psychological outcome is the same. They engage themselves in something they strongly believe in. This engagement brings happiness and meaning into their lives.

IV. I will prioritize my obligations and do important things first. Set priorities for yourself and act accordingly. It’s the only way to get things done. It’s the only way to turn a dream into a reality.

V. I will choose my friends wisely. Your friends are family you choose. So make sure you choose friends who are worthy of your time and attention. Surround yourself with people who reflect the person you want to be. Choose friends who you are proud to know, people you admire, who love and respect you – people who make your day a little brighter simply by being in it.

VI. I will help others when I am able. In life, you get what you put in. When you make a positive impact in someone else’s life, you also make a positive impact in your own life. The more you help others, the more they will want to help you.

VII. I will focus on the positive. Positive thinking is at the forefront of every great success story. The mind must believe it can do something before it is capable of actually doing it. The way to overcome negative thoughts and destructive emotions is to develop opposing, positive emotions that are stronger and more powerful. Listen to your self-talk and replace negative thoughts with positive ones. Regardless of how a situation seems, focus on the next positive step forward.

VIII. I can only be me. Judy Garland once said, “Always be a first rate version of yourself instead of a second rate version of somebody else.” Live by this statement. There is no such thing as living in someone else’s shoes. The only shoes you can occupy are your own. If you aren’t being yourself, you aren’t truly living – you’re merely existing. And ask yourself this: If you don’t like who you really are, why should I like you? Trying to be somebody you’re not is not sexy. Be you. That’s when you’re beautiful.

IX. I will be here now. Life is happening right now. Instead of dwelling on the past or worrying about the future, practice being and living in the present moment. Remember, right now is the only moment guaranteed to you. Right now is life. Don’t miss it. (Read Zen and the Art of Happiness.)

X. Life never gets any better, only my perception of it does. The world around you changes when you change. If you awake every morning with the thought that something wonderful will happen in your life today, and you pay close attention, you’ll often find that you’re right. The opposite is also true. The choice is yours to make.
